• My Year In Review:2016

    image

When it come’s to 2016, it is not exactly a secret that it was one of those year’s that the majority of us would rather write off. Take show business for one, we lost so many legends from David Bowie, Alan Rickman to George Michael and Carrie Fisher.

From a personal perspective 2016 wasn’t all bad but I defiantly had a mixture of incredible highs such as my surprise engagement in Venice to Al and severe lows to being told I might go completely deaf by the end of the year.

One thing that last year has taught me is that life really is too short to stress over the little things and a great quote that I love to try to remember during difficult moments, is that “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations”.

Looking back now, I think if we all take a step back we will all realise that despite life’s constant challenges and struggles, there is something good in every day however small. This year I am looking forward to getting stuck into my new job, tackling that dreaded driving test, going dress shopping, planning mine and Al’s big day for next year and blogging of course! What are you all looking forward to this year?

Happy New Year for 2017 to you all!

    Love Emma
