• Arconic Brush Review

They say you always want what you haven’t got and whilst I love my long hair, sometimes I do feel that it can be incredibly high maintenance and as for achieving salon worthy results, the closest my hair usually gets to such results is when I indulge myself with a special hair treatment whilst enjoying a nice long soak in the tub.

After being sent the new Arconic brush which was designed by hair dresser John Gillespie I was a bit sceptical, after all exactly how amazing can a paddle brush be? Described as revolutionary to the hairdressing industry, the Arconic brush offers greater control when blow-drying larger sections of hair and promises salon results at home. I have to confess that my poor hairdressers usually spend hours on cutting, styling and colouring my hair and when it comes to drying my hair, well I defiantly don’t envy them.

But when I tried out the Arconic brush it provided plenty of grip for my heavy locks whilst enabling me to brush my hair without it getting all in a tangle. Whilst £19.99 does seem rather deer in price, I suppose when you weigh up the cost of a blow-dry at your local salon, it is defiantly an investment that is perfect for those in-between salon moments.

Also despite it’s size, the brush is incredibly light weight, making it the perfect hair essential to throw in your suitcase for that Summer holiday that is just around the corner.

Have you used the new Arconic brush yet?

HA, “exactly how amazing can a paddle brush be?” was exactly what I was thinking too but I do see your point about it being easier to blow-dry which will help me style (by extension).

Hm, you’ve peaked my interest. I do not have this bush but I’ll definitely be putting it on my wish list.

Also, your hair looks absolutely GORGEOUS so whatever you’re doing – keep on, keep on’n. LOL

I haven’t used this brush before but I do like the sound of it! I find brushing my hair such a chore, so anything to help make it easier sounds fab!

Aww I’m glad this worked for you! I can’t stand using paddle brushes on my hair. I’m in love with my Wet Brush then a thick circular brush to get that body. But I also don’t have your gorgeous long locks, so our needs are probably different:)

It is a great brush and has replaced my tangle teezer for every day use as well as for blow drying. Emma X
