A day out in my favourite seaside city.

So judging by the weather on Monday, it looks like Summer has decided to make a swift departure, following our rather usual heat wave from last week. However, the prompt arrival of cooler climes were greeted by myself with much enthusiasm, as I have been eager to wear my gorgeous new slip-ons from Franchetti Bond for quite some time.

I decided that as I was due to take a long overdue trip to Brighton, it was the perfect opportunity for me to put these shoes to the test and see if they really were as comfortable as I imagined them to be. So, earlier this week we headed down to my favourite seaside city and enjoyed a fun afternoon looking around the lanes, drinking chai lattes, discovering the haunts of various artists and of course checking out the amusements on the pier. The day was concluded with some sugared donuts from the pier, because we all know you can’t visit Brighton without consuming something sweet as well as some fish and chips.

The new Ciri slip-on is the perfect transitional piece for this season.

As for the stunning Ciri suede slip-ons, I noticed that they did attract quite a few admiring glances and as for comfort they were incredible. It was so nice to be able to wander the lanes of Brighton and explore the city without having to end the day on a sore note. Whilst recent trends seem to favour peep-toe boots, this isn’t really practical with the British weather as it means you will be needing to invest in some new footwear for the colder season.

However, these grey skater style shoes will tick all of the boxes when it comes to style, comfort and practicality, providing you with the perfect transitional piece that is guaranteed to take you from Summer to the end of the year. What’s more, the subtle diamante detailing adds a touch of glamour that is perfect for the daytime and great for taking you from office to after work drinks.

I decided to pair my new Ciri shoes with a simple navy top, some jeans and a classic leather jacket. I absolutely loved this look, as it had a relaxed casual feel to it and yet it also felt effortless in terms of the style stakes. I can’t wait to wear these throughout the rest of 2016 and I just know that they will be a staple piece in my wardrobe in months to come.

I find it so relaxing. I had a wonderful time thank you and it ended on a lovely note, as I was able to give a less fortunate man some hot food and a drink 🙂 Seeing the smile on his face was the perfect end to a family day out. Brighton is such a great place!
